RSVP for Book Club

The Neuroplasticity Alliance
Louisville Book Club
Real conversations about brain health, connection, and recovery — right here in Louisville.
No book required to join. No expertise needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to learn together.
A Different Kind of Book Club
This isn't about finishing chapters on a deadline. It's about understanding your brain — and what neuroscience says about anxiety, rest, connection, recovery, and long-term cognitive health — at a pace that actually sticks.
Each meeting, we discuss one section of our current book. Breaking the material into smaller, focused conversations (rather than trying to absorb an entire book at once) gives everyone time to sit with new ideas, connect them to their own life, and come back ready to go deeper. Research on adult learning consistently shows that spacing learning out over time — rather than cramming it all at once — leads to much stronger understanding and retention.
You don't have to have finished the reading to participate. You don't even have to have started it. Come as you are, and join the conversation.
How the Louisville Book Club Works
📅 Frequency: We meet every other week
📍 Format: In-person, Louisville
⏱️ Structure: Each session covers one section of the current book — small, manageable pieces, discussed together
🧠 No pressure: Haven't read it yet? Come anyway. Many of our richest conversations come from people hearing the ideas for the first time, live, in the room.
👥 Who it's for: Anyone curious about brain health — individuals living with a neurological condition, caregivers, healthcare professionals, or simply people who want to understand their own minds a little better.
Exact meeting day, time, and location are shared with registered members directly, since these can shift from session to session. Register below and we'll send you everything you need.
